Hello all,

most of you may already have heard about this incident.  For all of you who have not, please read the paragraph below.  I will be provided with a sketch of the suspect in the next few days.  As soon as I have this I will send this out to all of you as well.

In the last few days, a white man in his late 20's/early 30's driving an older model Buick car, burgundy color, loud muffler, squeaky breaks tried to entice a young girl in The Crossings to his car saying that he had a package that wouldn't fit in her mailbox and asked her to come and get it.   He tried 3 times to get her to come to his car.  She finally said, "let me get my dad" and he took off.  This has been reported to the police.  This is a good reminder to talk with our kids about what can happen.   If you see this type car, please act in a prudent fashion to dissuade his presence.

Please let me know if you have any questions or if you observed anything suspicious.  The time in question is 10/21/200, around 8:30 pm.

Hello all,

Here is the sketch of the man who approached the girl mentioned below on Tuesday night, 10/21 around 8:30 pm.
Once again, he was driving a late model car, possibly a Buick Century.
It was burgundy or possibly black, she couldn't tell for sure since it was dark.
The brakes were very squeaky and it had issues with the muffler, it was very loud.
He had black hair, cut short.  He had a medium build and had on a dark sweater.
He may look older than he does in the photo.  She thinks he was between 30 and 40.
If anyone seen him or recognizes him, please let us know.  He stopped in front of her house around
8:30 pm on Tuesday night, 08/21.  Please note that he did not break
any laws because he did not get out of his car or put his hands on her in any way.
However, we need to find out who he is so that the police can talk to him and make
sure he does not do this again.
Please feel free to contact me in case you have any questions.
Best regards,
